• Yes, you can. The music only plays when the area is in natural daylight, or artificial light..the photo electric eye senses the condition..and the music does not play in the dark. You can also adjust the music volume..and turn it to '0' if you like.

• Not that I know of. I know you can turn the volume down quite low. I have never checked to see how low the music is. The music will not play when it is dark in the room.

• It automatically turns off in dark- not sure if there's an off switch,though you could cover the sensor and make it think it's night

• Ours is stumbling on one song and continues to be in motion but no song. Another song is almost the same. We assume we will have to contact the company as they are suppose to be guaranteed. This has just started. We purchased ours in the fall. Pat Arnold pat@majestichillsbengals.com

• The first one be bought at Sams did the same thing. We returned it and bought from Amazon. It works petfect.

• Our clock quit playing tunes and then quit moving. Before we sent it in we decided to change batteries. Found Made in China batteries. They appear to be cheap non-Alkaline batteries even though it says to use Alkaline. Changed to USA Duracell Quantum Alkaline and now the clock work great! Pat

• There is no memory card slot so that you can add your own songs. That's actually a brilliant option to have on a musicale clock. Sadly the Seiko melodie wall clock does not give you that option.

• No. The songs are preprogrammed. You can choose what set of songs play by moving a selector switch.
